This policy explains how Vision Tech ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our website, our IT support services and the Vision Tech App. We aim to keep it in plain English.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for automated decisions that significantly affect you.

We only share information where needed to run our service, with providers acting on our instructions, such as our web hosting and email provider (KNJ Network). We may also share information where the law requires it, or to protect people from harm. We do not sell your information.

5. Photos, files and remote access

Photos and files you upload to the app are private to you and our team. If we need to access your device remotely, we ask first. See our Remote Access Policy.

6. Transfers outside the UK

Our data is held by our hosting provider, KNJ Network. If your information is ever stored or processed outside the UK, we will make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, as UK data protection law requires.

7. How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as needed. See our Data Retention Policy for typical periods.

8. How we protect it

We use measures including strong password rules, 2-step sign-in (required for our administrators), encrypted connections, restricted access and activity logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

10. Complaints

Our services are not aimed at children under 16. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and, for important changes, tell you directly.
