Remote Access Policy
Last updated 6 October 2026
Sometimes the quickest fix is for us to connect to your device. This policy explains how we do that safely and with your say-so.
1. We always ask first
We will only connect to your device after you agree, and we will explain what we plan to do and why.
2. How a session works
- You start or approve the session, using a remote support tool such as AnyDesk. We usually start by helping you over email, and only use remote access when it is the quickest way to fix the problem.
- You can watch what we do and stop the session at any time.
- We only access what is needed to fix the problem and we do not browse your personal files, photos or messages.
- If we need to see something personal, we will ask you first.
- We will not install software without telling you.
- When we finish, we close the connection and tell you what we did.
3. What we never do
- Ask for your passwords, PINs or full recovery codes by message or phone.
- Connect without your agreement.
- Keep unattended access unless you have agreed in writing.
4. Beware of scammers
Anyone who phones you out of the blue claiming to be tech support and asks to connect is likely a scammer. Vision Tech will only connect when you have contacted us or agreed an appointment. If unsure, do not connect, and contact us on admin@visiontech336.com.
5. Records
We note in your support request what was done, and when.
6. Unattended access
We do not offer unattended access.
